Hubert Cecil Booth: Google honours the man who invented first vacuum cleaner
Source: GISTEver wondered who brought the idea of device that made your task of cleaning home much more easier. Well, Google tells it all with its Doodle today. Google has honoured British engineer Hubert Cecil Booth with a special Google Doodle on his 147 birthday. Booth revolutionized the task of cleaning by giving the world its first ever powered vacuum cleaners that sucked up the dust. A horse-drawn, petrol-powered machine “Puffy Billy” looked little like the technology used on carpets in every household today. Booth is also known to invent the popular Ferris Wheel, Suspension Bridges and factories.
