Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed happiness over government’s decision to provide 1.5 times of MSP to the farmers. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, the government has fulfilled its promise made to farmers.

He congratulated the farmers saying that this time historic hike has been given in the MSP of crops. The Prime Minister said, whatever step is required towards the development of agriculture sector as well as farmers’ welfare, the government is committed to taking that.
