Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the society should actively support women, children and youth to move ahead. He said that the government has implemented many schemes for the development of the poor, talented students and youth.
Benefits of schemes should reach eligible persons. Society will have to take this responsibility. Chouhan was addressing the felicitation ceremony organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Kirar, Dhakad, Kshatriya Mahasabha at the Chief Minister’s residence today as the chief guest.
On this occasion, MLA Ramkrishna Patel, former National President of the Mahasabha, Shivaji Patel and a large number of office bearers and members of the Mahasabha were present.
CM Chouhan emphasized the need for united efforts to motivate women for social work, to prepare talented students for preparation of examinations and construction of hostels, of public utility community buildings, dharamshalas etc.
He said that the society should come forward to inspire and mark the eligible families and beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana, Udyami and Swarozgar Yojanas.
He said that a Mahasabha Task Force should be formed and persons eligible for government-run schemes should be identified. A list of individuals and families who are eligible for the benefits of the schemes should be made.
He called upon the Mahasabha to make concerted efforts to help the weak and the needy in the society. Citing the example of the Bohra Samaj, he said that members of the society should collect funds to support a needy family.
He said that the government has implemented the world’s most effective Sambal Yojana to remove poverty and to give them facilities. Children belonging to the poor and lower-middle-class families registered under the scheme will be benefitted without the bondage of percentage for admission in marked educational institutions.
He told to work for the eradication of social evils. He lauded the efforts of the women of the Samaj for organizing mass marriages in Pipariya. He informed that the Nagar-Dhakad Samaj has presented an example of putting an end to dowry system.
He said that the state government has got Rs 33 thousand crores deposited in bank accounts of farmers under various schemes during one year. Farmers should get their passbooks updated.
The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that collective efforts could become vast and great. The big form of this has been presented by organising a Parichay Sammelan by the Akhil Bhartiya Kirar, Dhakad Kshatriya Mahasabha. He appreciated group marriage function and exhibition organized by the Mahasabha in the convention.
He expected from the Mahasabha that it will organize group function at a large level in future. CM Chouhan congratulated persons, who cooperated directly or indirectly in the Parichay Sammelan programme. He also sang song in the programme.
National President Smt. Sadhna Singh, while elaborating on the activities of the Mahasabha said that a record 1490 bio-datas have been published in the souvenir of Mahasabha. Marriages are performed with full cultural and religious traditions.
She expressed gratitude towards the members for their cooperation in the Parichay Sammelan. She further mentioned that the community will progress with the cooperation of all. Everyone has equal responsibility in the activities of Mahasabha. Activities should be conducted together by all.
Moreover, she also expressed gratitude towards committees connected with arrangements of invitation, lodging, transport, registration, parichay patra, food, potable water, souvenir publication and stage arrangements. Smt. Singh expressed thanks towards the persons cooperated for collaborative fund, transport and housing for the programme.
State President of the community Premnarayan Patel has said that the Parichay Sammelan organized by the Mahasabha has facilitated new direction to the community. This success has been achieved by the coordinated leadership, connections, organizing capabilities and modest behavior of the Mahasabha.
He expressed gratitude on behalf of the community. Patel further mentioned that arrangement of group marriage function is being praised in the community. New conscience has developed in the community towards mass marriages.
At the beginning of the programme, guests garlanded the portrait of Bhagwan Balram and lighted a lamp. Vande Matram recital also took place. The programme was conducted by the President of Municipal Corporation Surjeet Singh Chouhan.
