Doma Group to build Little National hotels in Sydney and Newcastle
Canberra developer Doma Group is spreading its wings and building a Little National Hotel in both Sydney and Newcastle.
The $120 million Little National Hotel in Sydney’s CBD will reach 12 storeys above the Clarence Street entry to Wynyard Station. The hotel will have 230 rooms, gym, library and rooftop lounge and bar. It is expected to open in October, 2019.
The $200 million Little National Hotel in Newcastle West will open in early 2020, and will include two, 90-metre-high residential towers.
The Little National brand has its roots in Canberra.
The Little National Hotel in Barton was completed in 2015.
Doma Group managing director Jure Domazet said Little National’s design and positioning were secrets to its success.
“At Little National, a smaller room in a super-prime location provides affordable luxury with no compromise on hotel room essentials or design aesthetics. You get the essential touchpoints of a 5-star hotel room without the price tag—allowing you to experience more of what your destination has to offer,'' he said.
