Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, One crore 83 lakh labourers have been registered under Chief Minister Jankalyan Sambal Yojana so far. Under this scheme, outstanding electricity bill worth Rs 5 thousand 179 crores will be waived off in Chief Minister’s Power Bill surcharge Waiver scheme.
So far, 16 lakh beneficiaries have been registered for electricity bill waiver. Labourers of Karmakar Mandal have been included in Saral Bijli Bill Yojana. The scheme is being launched on July 3. After the scheme, registered labourers will be given electricity bill at flat rate of Rs 200 per month.
This information was given at a video conference taken by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for review of the scheme. Chief Minister Chouhan, in the meeting, said that new history is being created for welfare of poor people through the scheme. All should get united to work for better execution of the scheme.
Cabinet members, administrative officers and MLAs in districts, public representatives were present in the video conference.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Sambal Yojana is a campaign to change the lives of poor people. Through this, social security is being provided to the poor. All should work for execution of the scheme with full force.
Ensure that no eligible labourer is left from registration under the scheme. He himself will review the scheme daily. No poor should be left without treatment that’s why benefit under the free medical assistance scheme should be provided.
Awareness should be created for Chief Minister’s Public Welfare Education Promotion Scheme. The second phase of Chief Minister’s Power Bill Surcharge Waiver Scheme will be held on July 11. Smart cards will be distributed to all registered labourers under Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Sambal Yojana between July 10 and 30th.
Under the scheme, training to five Sambal Sahyogi in each Gram Panchayat and ward level in urban areas will be imparted. Camps should be held again in the districts where low registration has been reported under Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Sambal Yojana. Collectors will review the scheme daily.
Maternity assistance of Rs 40 crores to 61 thousand 284 beneficiaries
It was informed in the meeting that under the Sambal Scheme, funeral assistance will be given on the death of any dependent member of labourer’s family. There will be no restriction of age limit in it. Under this scheme, assistance of Rs 40 crores has been given to 61 thousand 284 beneficiaries for maternity assistance. Free medical assistance up to Rs two lakh will be given under the scheme.
Fee of students will be paid by the state government on showing smart card under the Chief Minister Public Welfare Education Promotion Scheme. Relief will be given in case filed under section 126, section 135 and section 138 under Power Bill Surcharge Waiver Scheme.
The training to selected master trainers for imparting training to Sambal Sahyogi under Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Yojana will be held on July 12 in Academy of Administration. The second phase of distribution of benefits under Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Sambal Yojana will be held on August 04.
During the video conferencing, Women and Child Development Minister Smt Archana Chitnis, Public Works Department Minister, Rampal Singh, Minister of State for General Administration and Narmada Valley Development, Lal Singh Arya, Minister of State for School Education, Dipak Joshi and Chief Secretary BP Singh were present.
