Dahler Gives The BMW X2 Modest Power Upgrades, Oversized Wheels

The BMW X2 is quite new in the market, yet tuners like Dahler have already started tweaking it.

Dahler’s offering mainly consists of some reasonable power upgrades for the 118i and 120i petrol and 18d and 20d diesel versions.

The first two now make 158PS (156hp / 116kW) and 264Nm (195lb-ft) of torque and 223PS (220hp / 164kW) and 340Nm (251lb-ft) of torque. The extra 22PS (22hp / 16kW) and 31PS (31hp / 23kW) generated over the stock engines don’t affect the emission standards, according to the tuner.

As for the diesels, they produce 174PS (172hp / 128kW) and 390Nm (288lb-ft) and 220PS (217hp / 162kW) and 450Nm (332lb-ft), respectively, an increase of 24PS (24hp / 18kW) and 30PS (30hp / 22kW).

Dahler is also offering different exhaust systems with individually selectable tailpipes, new sport springs and tuned shock absorbers. Besides lowering the ride height, the suspension parts are said to reduce sway tendency and lower crosswind sensitivity.

Finally, while there’s no aftermarket body kit, Dahler does have a few wheel sets available at 20- and 21 inches and in several styles.

The company doesn’t say how much all of these upgrades cost, but anyone interested in adding them to their X2 can find out by contacting the tuner directly.
