HYDERABAD: Even as the Congress is ready to play “Big Brother” role, all the like-minded opposition parties including rival TDP seem to have begun joining forces to take on the TRS in the Assembly polls. During a round-table meet organised here by the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) on the issue of mistakes in the land records’ purification drive, besides party founder Kodandaram, TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, TDP politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy and others took part. They resolved to fight against the government on issues belonging to people.

They decided to meet Governor ESL Narasimhan to urge him to direct the government to rectify the mistakes. Uttam said the land records purification drive conducted by the State government had proved to be a publicity stunt. “All the opposition parties should pressurise the government to correct the mistakes in land records,” he suggested. Later, Uttam also took part in another round table meet organised by CPM.
