GORAKHPUR: The
Supreme Court on Tuesday granted bail to former principal of Gorakhpur’s BRD Medical College, Rajiv Mishra in the oxygen supply case. Dr Purak Mishra, son of Dr Rajiv Mishra told TOI on phone. “It is the victory of truth as Supreme Court has granted bail to my father. We will get the related documents on Wednesday,” Dr Purak Mishra said. Dr Mishra, along with eight others, is an accused in August 2017 case in which over 30 children died in the paediatric ward of the hospital, allegedly when there was a break in Oxygen supply.
