BALANGIR: A man allegedly killed his wife before committing suicide at Colony Pada in Bhalumunda village within Bangomunda police limits here late on Monday. The body of the man, identified as Kapurchand Bachha, was found hanging from the ceiling of a room in his house while his wife Kaikai was lying in a pool of blood in an adjacent room.
Sources said Kapurchand had an altercation with Kaikai over some issues two months back following which the latter had gone to her paternal house at Talchakel village. Kaikai returned to Colony Pada on Friday and the couple had their dinner on Monday night and went to bed. Sangita Bachha, daughter-in-law of the couple, spotted the bodies on Tuesday morning and informed police.
