Arthur McCann, a July 4th patriot to his roots

ROUGH CUT (no reporter narration).

STORY: Arthur McCann of Norwood, Massachusetts is living proof of Independence Day's rallying power on Americans everwhere.

McCann has painted his front lawn red, white and blue as a July 4th tribute to the U.S.A.

McCann told WBZ-TV, "I just love America and the freedom and opportunities it gives and I love to be creative". "I have a Fourth of July party every year and the kids really enjoy it,' he said, 'so I like to show them what you can do if you put your mind to it and just a little respect for the veterans.

And to remind people there's still American patriots in this country."
