Four killed in separate hit-and-run cases

Four people, including a woman, were killed in separate hit-and-run cases across the city over the past 48 hours.

Ravi Kapoor, a resident of Harsaru village, was killed when a speeding truck hit his two-wheeler from behind on Dwarka Road Chowk in Harsaru on Sunday around 5.30 a.m.

In a similar case, a car hit a couple and their son, killing the woman, Sukrat Aadivashi, on the spot. Her husband Thallu and son Durga escaped with minor injuries. The accident took place at Jharsa Chowk flyover on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway around 2 p.m.

In another hit-and-run case, Mahabir, a resident of Hamirpur in Uttar Pradesh, was fatally knocked down by an unidentified vehicle near Sikanderpur metro station on Mehrauli-Gurugram Road around 8 a.m.

On Saturday, Navdeep Chauhan, who hailed from Haridwar in Uttrakhand, was killed and one Hitesh was injured when a speeding car hit their two-wheeler on Basai flyover.
