Mumbai-based travel channel Travelxp has foaryed into Singapore market in association with a local player StarHub.
"This is the beginning of Travelxp's expansion into the Asia Pacific region, and we will continue to take our world-class content to all parts of the world and in greater number of language feeds," its CEO Prashant Chothani said.
The channel will include Chinese subtitles in the coming months to appeal and engage with a wider audience.
"Further launches in the Asia-Pacific region with more languages are on the anvil in the coming months," the company said.
StarHub Head of Content Business Unit Lee Soo Hui said: "With Singaporeans being avid travellers, we are confident that Travelxp will resonate with every backpacker, guidebook follower and adventure seeker".
In April this year, Travelxp launched in United Kingdom on UK.
Travelxp is an initiative of Celebrities Management Private Limited, India and UK-based Media Worldwide. It operates 10 satellite channels globally.
