‘Minister has adopted dual standards of development’

Dual standards of development has been adopted by minister of cooperatives and MLA Narela constituency, said former State Congress General Secretary Mahendra Singh Chouhan during the fifth day of the ‘Narela Bachao Yatra’ at ward no; 77 on Monday.

During the ward no; 77 of Karond Chouhan alleged that MLA Sarang neglected development work of the ward after the BJP candidate failed to claim corporator elections as even after all attempts the Congress corporator failed to get any development work done in the ward as the documents failed to reach the responsible person and authority and this whole procedure is facilitated by MLA. 

The ward lacks streetlight, sewage system and has garbage heaps and due to negligence by MLA the residents are suffering and these people would address their problems by not voting for BJP.

During the visit, more than 20 workers, including Ramnath Tiwari, Bantu Chowk, Bihari Prasad Vishwakarma, Suresh Patel, Ramesh Batham, Jivanlal Pataria, Arun Budholia, Ganga Tiwari, left BJP and joined Congress.

Corporator of Ward 77' Mubarakka Dawoodi and Congress leader Kamruddin Dawoodi alleged that the work done under the Chief Minister Infrastructure scheme have been infected with corruption. The contractors were paid without physical verification of the work. The two alleged that MLA has dampened the growth of the ward by obstructing the work through BMC officials who are working as puppets. The rations shops are not working properly the biometric system never works due to which several needy fail to get ration. File of boundary wall construction of cemetery have been submitted thrice but the work never happened.
