PATNA: RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s elder son
Tej Pratap Yadav on Tuesday sought to create a stir in the state’s political circles as he came out of his residence displaying a printout that read, “No entry Nitish chacha”.
The move underlined the RJD’s avowed aversion to Nitish’s return to the Grand Alliance of RJD and Congress in
Bihar.
Tej, who was health minister in Nitish’s cabinet till May 2017 when the CM deserted the GA and returned to the BJP fold to form government, did not paste the printout outside the 10, Circular Road bungalow of his mother and former CM Rabri Devi, where the lalu family resides.
He, however, said he would put up a similar poster outside the 5, Deshratna Marg bungalow allotted to his younger brother Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, who was deputy CM in the GA government headed by Nitish.
Tej had on Sunday said what to speak of GA, “Nitish uncle” was not welcome to even their residence. Asked about Tejashwi’s earlier statement that doors were closed for Nitish in the GA, Tej had said, “When we will not allow him (Nitish) to enter even our house, how is it possible to allow his return to GA?”
JD(U) national secretary general K C Tyagi was furious. “Do you think we should speak on this? The two brothers have become a butt of ridicule in political circles due to their foolish activities,” he said.
