Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Weather conditions in Bhopal were dry and sunny on Sunday. During noon, heat made people to sweat. Rains have stopped as there is no system at present. It was only in few places of state that light to moderate rains were recorded in last twenty four hours.
Major rainfall figures were recorded in Nainpur (6 cm), Sohagpur, Badwani (3 cm each), Umaria (2 cm), Kevlari, Lakhnadon, Manawar (1 cm each) respectively.
Weather Department said, in its forecast that some parts of Mandla, Balaghat, Rewa, Shahdol, Anuppur, Seoni, Chindwada and Dindori are likely to receive rainfall along with lightening activities. The rest places of Madhya Pradesh will remain dry.
As rains have come to a halt, once again humidity has started to haunt people in Bhopal and many parts of Madhya Pradesh. People are using fans and air conditioners to beat the heat and waiting for revival of rains.
Dry weather to continue till July 4
Those who are hoping for revival of rainfall activities are likely to get disappointed as Weather Department said that there would be no major change in present weather conditions at least till July 4.
The local forecast for Bhopal says that city is going to experience partial cloudy weather conditions and weather would be mainly dry. Winds will blow at the speed of 20 km per hour and maximum temperature is likely to be around 34 degrees Celsius.
Earlier, it was being fathomed that rains will get intensified from first week of this month but it has not happened so. This factor has left people high and dry.
Now it is being hoped that rains will get revived after July 4 and till then only sporadic places of state will get light to moderate rainfall and whatever rainfall will occur it will be due to available moisture content.
