Interactive orientation event held for parents

Campion School Arera Colony organized an interactive day-long orientation programme for the parents of class V students under the guidance of Fr Athnas Lakra SJ, Principal of Campion School Bhopal.

The objective of the programme was to familiarize the parents as ‘partners in progress’ with the current curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities along with the Importance of Jesuit Education, Jesuit Guidelines, CBSE norms and Principles of Jesuit Education etc.

In her welcome address, Headmistress Sr Lily D’Souza laid stress on the holistic development of the child which is the main aim and objective of the school. Followed by this Prabha Mathew Madam conducted a Short Prayer for all the gathering present in this programme. Stage was hosted by Sangeeta Dominic Madam.

Principal Fr Athnas Lakra S.J enlightened the gathering by walking through the Vision and Philosophy of the school, Importance of Jesuit Education, Jesuit Guidelines, CBSE norms and Principles of Jesuit Education etc.

He said, “Such orientation programs are fantastic opportunities for parents to know what to expect in the coming year and also equip them for it. They also get to know the teachers in the different classes.

The schools explain the pattern for conducting examinations, the extracurricular activities, the support required from parents etc. their children in positive ways, the children maximize on their untapped potentials and are more regular to school and demonstrate positive attitude and behaviour.”
