KOCHI: Dr Batra’s, a Mumbai based multi-speciality homoeopathy clinic, launched gene-targeted therapy named ‘Geno Homoeopathy’ in Kochi on Monday. Geno Homoeopathy is claimed to be scientific, precise, safe and uniquely planned for each individual, which is the first of its kind in India.
Mukesh Batra, CMD of Dr Batra’s, said the therapy is a kind of genetically personalised homoeopathic care that involves designing a treatment based on individual genome sequencing.

The tests of Geno Homoeopathy are designed by Dr Batra’s team for allergies, child health, hair loss, preventive health, skin disorders, stress management, weight management, women’s health and sexual health. “Only basic genetic test is carried out at our clinic and the treatment takes place based on the result,” said Mukesh.

“The Geno Homeopathy test will also help patients to know if they are at risk of any medical disorder including lifestyle ailments in future. The cost of this treatment range from Rs 7,000 to Rs 25,000 compared to over a lakh rupees charged abroad.” There are 225 Dr Batra’s clinics operating across India, UK, UAE, Bahrain and Bangladesh. In Kerala, there are six clinics functioning.
