RANCHI: Ranchi police on Monday seized a vehicle laden with
rajnigandha and
paan masala, which was taken over by criminals and was being driven to Bedo for unloading. This happened at a check point at Dungri More under the Tupudana police station area. Police arrested two persons in the operation while three others managed to escape. The 407 truck carrying products worth Rs 35 lakhs and a Bolero vehicle have been recovered in the operation.
SP (city) Aman Kumar said police got information that five criminals have taken over the truck and were taking it from Namkum
ring road to Tupudana. A police team led by DSP Vikas Kumar Pandey then started vehicle checking at Dungri More in Tupudana area to intercept the criminals coming on the way. TNN
