If thana and tehsils work efficiently people will get relief: Yogi

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that if thana and tehsils work efficiently people will get relief as both these Government departments deals with the problems of the common men.

Addressing a convention of UP Revenue officers here on Sunday he said that revenue officials should work with compassion. They are dealing with people who are aggrieved. Few soft words and little bit of help can bring a sea change in the working of Government, he said.

“This is an old saying but is very effective that if thana and tehsils are set right half of the problems of people in any State will be over. The majority of complaints are lodged in thanas and tehsils. Even people coming for Janata Darshan have complaints against tehsils. The onus is now on you people to see to it that people get relief. Work in a time bound manner and clear the files in a transparent manner”, he said.

 CM said Revenue officials directly deal with the people. They are the people who issue certificates like income, caste, residence and land deals. You are the face of the Government.
