Buick’s 2019 LaCrosse family is welcoming a new member in the form of the Sport Touring, bringing with it a monotone theme with a body color, instead of chrome, grille surround and side vents .
Other changes include ‘ST’ badging on the trunk lid, a subtle rear spoiler, a black mesh grille and 19-inch midnight silver wheels featuring a triple-spoke design.
“The LaCrosse ST emphasizes the importance of design, while also complementing the safety, refinement and technology of our flagship sedan,” stated Buick & GMC marketing exec Phil Brook. “The LaCrosse exemplifies what we mean by attainable luxury, offering Buick’s signature QuietTuning, spirited and efficient performance and the latest in-car connectivity all at a tremendous value to customers.”
Powering the 2019 LaCrosse ST is a 310 HP 3.6-liter V6 mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Pricing starts at $40,295 (including the $925 destination fee), and the following five color options will be available to customers: White Frost Tricoat, Satin Steel Metallic, Quicksilver Metallic, Red Quartz Tintcoat and Ebony Twilight Metallic.
Buick is also bringing other changes to the 2019 LaCrosse lineup, which include two new exterior colors (Carrageen Metallic and Pewter Metallic). Furthermore, the Avenir model now gets a new air ionizer as standard, designed to eliminate odors and improve the air quality inside the cabin.
