Mysuru constable suspended after he posts image of Godman 'sitting in senior cop's chair'

MYSURU: World famous Mysuru Palace is in news again for bad reasons. Earlier, it made headlines due to a security breach; this time it's delinquency.

A palace security department police constable has been suspended for "showing indiscipline" by posting an incident which he called "delinquency" on the part of senior officials on the internet. After he got the suspension order, he has requested for euthanasia.

Chikkanna posted on social media, “My senior officer allowed a Swamiji to sit in his office chair and this is delinquency” and posted the images too. He made the video and complained to the deputy commissioner of police, Mysuru armed reserve police.

It is said if Shailendra, ACP of Palace Security department, allowed Swamiji to sit in his chair, Chikkanna should have been complained to the senior officials. Instead, he uploaded in the social media and department considers this as indiscipline.

Earlier, a video shoot was conducted through a drone in the palace, which is against the security norms.

Mysuru SP Subrahmanyeshwar Rao said, "If any private persons are allowed in the restricted area, we will investigate and take action. Constable Chikkanna has shown indiscipline. Earlier, also he has done many such things. So, we have suspended him."
