Watch: King cobra coughs up onions in Odisha
Source: TNNIt was an unusual scene for the crowd when a cobra regurgitated 11 onions and a toad after it was rescued by the members of snake helpline in Odisha’s Angul district. The rescue members could not believe their eyes when they witnessed that the reptile regurgitated onions and toad. An expert says although snakes are carnivorous in nature, but it is seen that they swallow such items like fruits or vegetables if they found the odour of their prey on it.
