At least six people were killed and 18 injured due to thunderstorm and lightning in Aurangabad and Gaya districts of Bihar last night. Four people lost their lives in Aurangabad, while two were killed in Gaya.
The state government has announced an ex-gratia of four lakh rupees each to the next of kin of those killed. The MeT department has predicted more thunderstorm and lightning today in eastern parts of the state.
