Fine Organic Industries shares gain over 5% in debut trade

Shares of climbed over 5 per cent on the first day of its trading today from the issue price of Rs 783.

The stock settled at Rs 822.80, up 5 per cent from the issue price on BSE. It had listed at Rs 815, a gain of 4 per cent as compared to the issue price. In intra-day, it soared 6.51 per cent to Rs 834.

On NSE, shares of the company ended at Rs 824, up 5.23 per cent.

The company's market valuation stood at Rs 2,522.70 crore.

In terms of equity volume, 8.83 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and over 58 lakh shares changed hands at NSE during the day.

The Rs 600-crore IPO of Fine Organic was open during June 20-22. The price band for the offer was fixed at Rs 780-783 per share.
