Rahul Sinha ridiculed the leadership today over its statement that people want a Bengali and said that the party should stop "day dreaming of conquering New Delhi" and instead focus on retaining its ground in Bengal.

"The people of want a Bengali prime minister. Its high time we have a Bengali prime minister," he had said.

Sinha told PTI, "They (TMC) should stop making such ridiculous statements and stop day dreaming of having Mamata Banerjee as Instead of dreaming of conquering the seat of power in the TMC should focus in retaining its ground in Bengal."
