Dikshita to get Bishnu Sharma Sanskrit Award 

Bhubaneswar: Regional Sanskrit Movement founder and Saraswati Research Centre director Prof Dr Sadananda Dkshita would be honoured with ‘Acharaya Bishnu Sharma National Award” for 2017-18, informed Delhi Sanskrit Academy secretary Jeetram Bhatt here on Saturday. Dikshita would receive Rs 50,000 and a citation in the presence of the Delhi Chief Minister at a programme to be held in New Delhi on July 27. Dikshita has been involved in national-level seminars, book publications, Shree Jayadev festival and manuscript workshops since 1979. Earlier, he has also received awards from the Kanchi Kamakoti Sankaracharya and various universities.
