C’garh State Assembly monsoon session from today

Monsoon Session of the Chhattisgarh State Assembly is to commence from Monday. The session which  will have five sittings is expected to be stormy.

The Opposition Congress is also going to move no confidence motion in the session. On the declaration of Opposition that they are going to move No Confidence Motion, the Chief Minister Raman Singh commented that they are showing ‘no confidence’ since past 15 years but the government has the confidence of people of State.

“This is the last opportunity for them to show ‘No Trust’ in this last session ahead of the elections slated later this year”, the CM said. “In the past 15 years they have failed to convince the State populace to show ‘no trust’ on the Government. It is sure that the we are going to form Government in the elections to be held in the year end”, he added.

However, on the inaugural day, the House will pay tribute to departed leaders former Member of Parliament Keyur Bhushan, former Ministers Hemchand Yadav and Vikram Bhagat. Thereafter after a gap, the normal business would be conducted. The first supplementary budget would be presented by the Government on the second day of the session i.e. on July 3.
