Rathore junks Tharoor's charge on PM's fitness video

Rathore took to to rebut and took a swipe at him saying "not a single lamb was sacrificed" for the video.

"Not surprised Mr Tharoor, falsehoods is your substitute for facts.

"No money was spent for PM's fitness video. It was recorded by the PMO videographer. This article is based on 'solid proof' of hearsay.

"And I assure you, Sir, not a single 'lamb' was sacrificed for the video, let alone 35!??," he tweeted.

Earlier in the day, the had tweeted a report alleging that a sum of Rs 20 crore was spent by the Ayush Ministry on day advertisements, with Rs 35 lakh spent alone on the prime minister's fitness video shot at his official residence.

"20 crore rupees in ads for #YogaDay, 35 lambs for @PMOIndia's fitness video! Disgraceful. This government is all about smoke & mirrors. Hype is their substitute for hope -- the hopes they have destroyed," Thaoor had tweeted earlier, tagging a media report along with it.
