Sushma responded to trolls With Twitter pole

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj conducted a Twitter poll on Sunday after she received a barrage of abuse on the social media website. She conducted a survey on Twitter and asked using social media whether they accept such "trolling." 57 percent of the people said that they oppose it.

The Minister's husband Swaraj Kaushal said in a passionate reply to a troll that the Twitter user has given stern words "unbearable pain" to his family. A total number of 1,24,305 people took part in this survey lasting 24 hours. In this survey 57 percent people supported Sushma, 43 percent of the people supported the trolls. After the survey, Sushma tweeted some lines of Hindi poet Neeraj.

"In a democracy difference of opinion is but natural. Pls do criticise but not in foul language. Criticism in decent language is always more effective," Sushma Swaraj tweeted after the poll results were declared.

Sushma Swaraj has been retweeting abuses and offensive tweets directed at her over the transfer of Passport Seva Kendra official Vikas Mishra for harassing an interfaith couple in Lucknow.

Replying to a person accusing his wife of appeasing Muslims, Sushma's husband said today that such words have given unbearable pain to her family. Sushma's husband Kaushal tweeted, "Your words have given us unbearable misery.

After the trolling lasted for several days, the case moved forward Saturday, when Sushma's husband tweeted a screenshot of a Twitter user's post, in which he has been told that he should beat her (Sushma) and teach her not to do “Muslim appeasement”.
