‘World class exposure for Jharkhand farmers’

Farmer from the State will get world-class exposure for agriculture so they are being sent from 23 July to 28 July 2018 on Israel tour. Chief Minister Raghubar Das has instructed the Ministry of Agriculture to make a selection of one farmer from every district of the State.

The CM said Israel is world famous for providing better agricultural output in using least water resources. He said that more than agricultural specialists and scientists, farmers visit is important. He said that when this farmer comes back, he will be our master trainer who will tell about his experience to other farmers of his district.

The CM said that these farmers will be given special information about drip and sprinkler irrigation system and will also see its use in Israel’s farms. The team of 24 farmers will be led by Agriculture Minister Randhir Singh along with Agriculture Secretary Puja Singhal, Agricultural Director Ramesh Gholap and Vijay Singh. Procedure is being taken for clearance from Finance and Foreign Ministry in this regard.
