Hyderabad police conduct raids on pubs

The police issued notices to pub management asking them to follow rules and regulations for the smooth conduct of business activities and to prevent untoward incidents.

HYDERABAD: The Jubilee Hills conducted surprise raids on pubs, lounges and amusement facilities Friday night and found fault with several pub managements for allowing customers beyond stipulated timing. The police issued notices to pub management asking them to follow rules and regulations for the smooth conduct of business activities and to prevent untoward incidents. 

The Jubilee Hills police said that they conducted checks by visiting several pubs and noticed that the management were running the business by allowing customers beyond stipulated timing and serving liquor.  After 12 mid-night, the business establishments must close and no business activity is taken place. 

Drunk driving

The Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills traffic police have registered 73 cases on vehicle riders for driving vehicles in drunken condition. As many as 70 vehicles including four wheeler vehicles were seized and issued challan.
