CROATIA WIN!
Penalties! Croatia 3-2 Denmark (Rakatic scores)
Denmark first penalty: Eriksen steps up, places the ball on the spot ... takes a few steps back and runs towards it with ease before hitting towards the right.
Danijel Subasic SAVES!

ET 114' PENALTY!
Trust Luka Modric to make a difference. The Real Madrid star squeezes the tightest of through ball to Rebic. And the forward darts forward with pace and beats Kasper Schmeichel but before he pulls the trigger, Jorgenson brings Rebic down. Obvious penalty.

ET 105' HALF-TIME
Okay, we get you both (Croatia and Denmark) want a penalty shoot-out ...

FULL-TIME!
Extra time to come in the next couple of minutes ...
78' Smells like extra-time as well as penalty shoot-out
*cries for more goals

76' MODRIC!
After scramble in the 18th area, with Denmark struggling to get the ball out of the danger zone. The ball is finally cleared but only as far as Modric, and the Real Madrid star sees his shot go horribly wide.
74' CHANCE!
Denmark again (which is getting tiring now, come on Croatia put up a fight), this time from Eriksen who sees his shot wiz past the keeper ...
61' Croatia sitting back and too comfortable, allowing the Danes too much time on the ball.
Poulsen is growing into the game again sprints past Vida down the flank and nearly getting a shot off after brilliant link-up play with Cornelius.
56' CHANCE! Poulsen whips in a low cross before getting the better of Strinic and Braithwaite gets hold of the cross and pulls the trigger. Shot wide!
GOOOOOAL! Rakitic sends Schmeichel the wrong way and Croatia are through! Denmark 2-3 Croatia on penalties!
SAVE! Subasic with another stop! Substitute Jorgensen fails to convert after a stuttering run-up. Croatia will qualify if Rakitic can convert his kick... Denmark 2-2 Croatia.
SAVE! Pivaric misses! Schmeichel keeps Denmark in it with a great save. Poor penalty that, and a poor run-up. Never looked confident.
SAVE! Subasic saves! Denmark 2-2 Croatia.
GOAL! Modric goes straight down the middle and finally scores against Schmeichel. Denmark 2-2 Croatia.
GOAL! Michael Krohn-Dehli sends Subasic the wrong way. Denmark 2-1 Croatia.
GOAL! Cool as you like from Kramaric. Schmeichel protests the run-up but it will stand. Denmark 1-1 Croatia.
GOAL! Kjaer makes no mistake with an unstoppable strike into the top corner. Denmark 1-0 Croatia.
SAVE! Schmeichel saves from Badelj, getting a late leg on it! Denmark 0-0 Croatia.
SAVE! Subosic saves, tipping Eriksen's kick onto the post. Denmark 0-0 Croatia.
Christian Eriksen steps up for Denmark to take the first kick. Subosic takes his place in goal...
ALL OVER! And we go to penalties!
There will be one minute of added time. Surely it's advantage Denmark if this goes to penalties. Will Modric take one after his miss?
SAVED! SCHMEICHEL SAVES! Croatia are denied! Modric misses! Unreal scenes!
PENALTY! Croatia with a late chance to win this from the spot! Modric steps up...
Lovely threaded ball from Modric into the path of Badelj outside the box, but his first touch of the game is poor. He ends up slipping over and Denmark clear their lines.
Substitution: Change for Croatia, their fourth and final sub. Mandzukic is off, replaced by Badelj.
Chance! Sisto brings some quality into the game at long last! He picks the ball up on the left of the box, turns superbly and shoots for the far corner, but it's just wide of the far post!
Substitution: Denmark's fourth change sees Sisto on for Braithwaite.
Back underway! Will we be going to penalties?
That's half time in extra time. Schmeichel is rallying the Denmark players around him, unsure if he's urging them to hold on or go for the win, however.
Croatia are really static, and despite moving into gaps, Modric is not being found. Mandzukic is standing still up front. Kramaric then works hard on the left, and wins a corner from a deflected looped cross.
Jorgensen holds it up for Schone really well, and his touch takes him away from Kovacic. He has a go, looking for the bottom left corner from 25 yards, but it's just wide!
Substitution: Third sub for Croatia, Kramaric is on for Perisic.
A few sighters for Denmark on the edge of the box on both flanks with Eriksen and Knudsen, but there's a real lack of composure in the final third! Eriksen over to take a corner, but Lovren clears ahead of Subasic.
Two long throws from Knudsen, but once again, they're both quite poor and don't cause any danger. It also takes him about a minute to go over and take it.
EXTRA TIME: After a short break, we're back underway for the first half of extra time.
FULL TIME: And that's that! After an incredible opening five minutes, the two sides failed to score again and we'll be going into extra time for the second time today. Croatia 1-1 Denmark. Join us for extra time shortly.
There will be three minutes of added time.
Kovacic does superbly to save the ball at the byline and win a throw. Perisic then crosses deep, Rebic collects and crosses himself, but it's just behind Rakitic inside the box before Pivaric's effort deflects over!
Substitution: Second Croatian change. Strinic is off, Pivaric comes on to replace him at full-back.
Vrsaljko has two bites at getting a decent cross in. The second is woeful, but it falls to Modric on the edge, only to see his low effort dragged wide.
Chance! Kjaer's lovely ball out wide founds Poulsen. His touch is brilliant, he squares for sub Jorgensen, but his turn and shot is held by Subasic! Should have perhaps done better.
Substitution: Change for Croatia now. Real Madrid's Kovacic is coming on for Brozovic.
Substitution: Jorgensen is coming on for Denmark, to replace Cornelius for the final half an hour or so.
Great work from Delaney, running 60 yards into the Croatia bos, but Braithwaite's touch in the area goes awry and out for a goal kick.
First sign of a Croatia attack this half. Rakitic spreads it nicely out to Perisic, but his right-footed cross is too far ahead of anyone and out of play for a goal kick.
Poulsen does really well on the right again to find a yard and cross. Vida can't clear it properly, Braithwaite takes over and looks to shoot, but slices it well wide!
Denmark's full-backs are noticeably much higher up the pitch now, and it's changed the tone of this game slightly. Perisic is now having to drop deeper.
Poulsen does really well and finds Knudsen on the left flank. He lifts it up into the box, it looks dangerous, but Subasic is under it well!
Substitution: Denmark make a half-time switch. Chelsea man Christensen is off, with Schone coming on.
SECOND HALF: We're back underway!
HALF TIME! After a whirlwind opening five minutes, the score remains 1-1 heading into the break. This is anyone's game, don't go anywhere!
There will be just one minute of added time. Meanwhile, Mario Mandzukic is down and is receiving treatment.
Five minutes of normal time remaining in this first half. Eriksen goes for the speculative effort from outside the area and his looping effort just skims the crossbar.
Chance! Free-kick to Croatia in a good crossing position on the left, won by Rebic. Modric takes, beautiful delivery for Lovren to glance on, but it's just wide! Huge invitation for the Liverpool man!
Cornelius takes down a long punt from Schmeichel, it sits up nicely for Eriksen, but his left-footed volley trickles well wide. Didn't catch that at all.
Two deliveries from Eriksen, one from a corner, but Croatia deal with them both times. Even flow to this game at present, but you'd still fancy Croatia.
Rebic keeps it alive on the left, cuts back for Perisic, who makes a hash of his first effort but has a second bite. He then slams it over the bar as Denmark came out to close him down! Mayhem.
Save! Croatia win the ball high up the pitch, and Rakitic is encouraged to shoot from 20 yards. He does, Schmeichel has to beat it away, but the danger hasn't gone.
Save! Lovely move involving Eriksen, Cornelius and Braithwaite. It comes to Braithwaite at an angle on the right of the box, and his low effort on the stretch is saved by Subasic!
Corner to Denmark after they spurned a chance to break. Eriksen takes short, Christensen eventually tries to cross but it's blocked by Rakitic. What a waste.
Rakitic sticks the ball back post for Mandzukic, Dalsgaard gets wrong side of him! He goes down but the ref waves play on! VAR takes a look and agrees with the ref.
Croatia really on top here. They're wreaking havoc on the right-hand side, and Denmark need to get this sorted fast.
Perisic steps up, but it cannons off the wall for a corner! Brave from Delaney, and a corner to Croatia.
Croatia do move the ball very fast, and they win a free-kick on the edge as Zanka clumsily takes Rebic out. Shooting chance for Perisic or Rakitic.
Looking at the equaliser again, Zanka the goalscorer needs to get out quicker to close down Vrsaljko on the right before he crosses. The game looks to be settling down now.
Croatia were only behind for 1 minute and 52 seconds! What. A. Start.
GOAL! Mandzukic puts Croatia level! Vrsaljko gets down the right, his hopeful low poke into the box is half-cleared by Kjaer. It ricochets off the head of Christensen, and falls perfectly into Mandzukic's path! He turns it home for 1-1!
The official time of that goal was clocked at 58 seconds.
GOAL! Croatia fail to deal with a throw into the mixer from the right. Delaney does well to win the loose ball, and Huddersfield defender Zanka has a poke at goal. Subasic's unconvincing dive deflects the ball into the net. What a start!
KICK OFF! We're underway!
The two sides make their way out onto the field. Kick-off will follow the national anthems.
