Qayamat Ki Raat is really challenging for me, says Daljiet

Daljiet Kaur actress was in Bhopal on Thursday to talk about her new show Qayamat Ki Raat says, “Qayamat Ki Raat is really challenging for me” . The fictional series is a thriller and according to Daljiet it is a spine chilling story concept with the horrifying villain ‘Tantrik’. “Our target audience is kids and youngsters. It is designed in such a way by the creative team that they will love the thriller,” she said.

While talking to the media persons, Daljiet opened up about her experiences while working with Balaji Telefilms. “The role of Kanika remained a really challenging for me. In my first shot I discovered that I had to be there in quick sand which was created out of multani mitti (earthen clay). I was there for about 8 hours continuously. Besides, we are going to such places for shoot that the experience automatically becomes paranormal. But it is exciting as well,” said Daljiet.

The popular television diva, Dalljiet Kaur, will play the role of Karuna Thakur. She will be seen on screen in a bubbly, chirpy avatar, as the elder daughter of Mahendra and Suhasini Thakur. Actors KarishmaTanna and Vivek Dahiya will be seen as Gauri and Rajwardhan in the serial. On her visit to Bhopal, she added, “I am really excited to be in this glorious city of Bhopal. After shooting for this show, I’ve started feeling scared in broad day light so on this visit I wanted to spend sometime at the Birla Temple to seek blessings for my journey in this show. Moreover, the scenic beauty of the lakes and the rich culture of the city have stolen my heart.”
