All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

In Jammu & Kashmir, a terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Kupwara district this morning.

Defence sources said, a search operation was launched in the forest area near Trehgam last night following information about the presence of terrorists there.

During the operation, an exchange of fire broke out between the security forces and a group of terrorists. The group is believed to have infiltrated from across the border. The operation is on in the adjacent areas to trace out other terrorists.

In a separate incident, two army jawans were injured after terrorists attacked a patrolling party in Ahgam area of Shopian district this morning. The area has been cordoned off by the security forces and a search operation has been launched.
