Breda,Netherlands,India settled for a 1-1 draw against Belgium here at the Rabobank Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy on Thursday.
India took the lead in the opening 10 minutes when dragflicker Harmanpreet’s low and powerful drive went past Vincent Vanasch.It was captain and goalkeeper PR Sreejesh who conceded just one goal from 12 PCs.For Belgium it was Loluy who equalled the score in the 59th minute through PC.
After two successive wins against Pakistan (4-0) and Argentina (2-1), India on Wednesday lost 2-3 to World No 1 Australia in a hard-fought third round robin match here.Belgium next take on Pakistan in a solitary game on Friday.
