Coming to Honor devices, Honor 10 users will start receiving the update by August 2018 in regions like India, Europe, Russia, Asia Pacific, and Middle East. In the same markets, the Honor 9 Lite and the Honor V10 will get updated with the GPU Turbo Software Update in September. For all regions, the update will hit the Honor 7X in September this year, while the Honor 8 Pro and the Honor 9 will be updated by November 2018.
As mentioned above, the GPU Turbo technology is a software update, which is said to reassemble the traditional graphics processing framework at the lower layer system for improving the user experience. Huawei also says that even if its device doesn’t support High Dynamic Range (HDR), it will still be able to deliver "outstanding" graphics quality with GPU Turbo tech. At the event where the company announced the roll-out schedule, it claimed that during testing, the Mate 10 achieved an average frame rate of 59.7 fps while running King of Glory, 59.8 fps on Knives Out, and 59.5 fps on CrossFire.
