CHANDIGARH: Indian ambassadors to two countries who hail from Haryana made a courtesy call on chief minister
Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday and discussed various issues of mutual cooperation.
While India’s ambassador to
Slovenia, Param Jit Mann, hails from Mundhal village in Bhiwani district, ambassador to
Armenia Yogeshwar Sangwan hails from Kharman village in
Jhajjar district.
The Union ministry of external affairs has taken an initiative under which Indian ambassadors posted in different countries have been allotted states to explore the possibilities of co-operation in the fields of mutual interest, and also promote the state in their countries.
