ECoR warns against RPF job rackets

In the wake of the Indian Railways issuing a notification for recruitment of 9,739 Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel, the East Coast Railway has warned common people and candidates against touts and anti-social elements running RPF job rackets. 

An official release stated that 1,120 Sub-Inspectors and 8,619 Constables would be recruited for filling up of vacancies only through the online processes.

Interested candidates would have to fill up their application online, and the process of examination would also be conducted online under the video surveillance system, a release said.

The ECoR has urged citizens/candidates to identify or to report about the touts involved in the RPF job promise racket, if they found any, to police and authorities of Indian Railways.
