Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan will tomorrow flag off Indore-Veraval Mahamana Express at Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
"Ministry of Railways have decided to introduce new weekly Mahamana express between Indore and Veraval," a press release issued by the Western Railway (Rajkot division) said here today.
The new service will benefit passengers, especially pilgrims visiting the temple towns of Mahakal and Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh and Somnath in Gujarat, it said.
On the day of the inauguration, the train will leave Indore at 5 PM and reach Veraval the next day at 1:30 PM.
"However in its regular run, the train will depart from Indore every Tuesday on 10:25 PM and reach Veraval 6:05 PM," said P B Ninawe, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Rajkot.
"It will leave Veraval every Thursday at 8:45 AM and reach Indore the next day at 4:55 AM," the DRM said.
The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, sleeper and general class coaches, he added.
