Admission schedule announced for RIMC

State chief education officer S B Joshi announced admission to Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) Dehradun for the upcoming batch of July 2019. For this, the entrance examination would be conducted on December 1 and 2 this year at Government Girls College on Rajpur Road in Dehradun. The students whose parents are permanent residents of Uttarakhand are eligible for applying in the examination.

The age of the candidates to take  the examination should not be less than 11 years and six months and not more than 13 years. Students either in class seven or pass out of class seven in the batch of  July 1 2019 from any certified school can apply for the admission. The written examination would have English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. Interviews would be held on April 4 2019 for the students who would clear the written examination. The location of the interviews would be announced in the first week of March 2019.

It is compulsory for the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates to attach caste certificates along with the forms. Attaching domicile certificates  is also necessary for the applying candidates. The entry form should have the permanent address, phone number and postal code clearly written on it. Form available in the market without Hologram would not be considered appropriate for admission. 

 The entry form should have two passport size photos of the candidate. Along with the birth certificate, the caste certificate (SC/ST), present class passed/perusing certificate  by the principal and Uttarakhand domicile certificate should be submitted to the office of the  chief education officer. The last date is September 30 2018 anddelayed applications would not be considered for  the admission process.
