Patna, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejaswi Yadav today accused CBI of shielding Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi in Rs 2,500 crore scam when they were ‘direct parties’ in it.
Stepping up his offensive against Mr Kumar and his deputy, Mr Yadav in his Twitter account posted a series of comments to target them in Srijan scam.
In his first tweet titled, ‘Big Expose’, Mr Yadav posted bank statements to buttress his claim and said, “Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Modi’s sister Rekha Modi and niece Urvashi Modi received crores of rupees from Srijan scam.
Here are bank statements of Srijan to prove transactions. Sushil Modi and Nitish Kumar are direct parties in 2,500 crore scam but CBI not naming and questioning them. Why?”
In another tweet, Tejaswi, the youngest son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad said, “2,500 crores of state exchequer were looted for years in Srijan scam under the able guidance of Deputy CM cum Finance Minister Sushil Modi and sound and known patronage of CM Nitish Kumar. Why CM and Deputy CM didn’t act on complaints from RBI and then Finance Ministry of India”.
