Haryana Government would soon upgrade 22 Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) to the level of Model ITIs whose students would be able to serve at international level.

For this, the Haryana Skill Development Department would collaborate with countries like Germany and Singapore, said Haryana Industries & Commerce and Industrial Training Minister, Vipul Goel, while honouring 23 winners of the State Skill Competition in Skill Development and Industrial Training Bhawan, Panchkula on Wednesday.

He said that it is a matter of pride for the state that 15 students of ITI Palwal got global placement this year.

Due to the efforts made by the Haryana Skill Development Mission, as many as 15 participants from Haryana have made a mark in the world-class competition. These 15 skilled students would participate in the Global Skill competition in Kazan, Russia, next year.

Haryana Skill Development Department was established in 2015.
