Meritorious students awarded by Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory

KOCHI: The Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) on Wednesday organised the ‘NPOL-Varuna Merit Day’ here to felicitate the students of Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakkara, who did exceptionally well in the CBSE Class X and XII exams. The NPOL-sponsored school secured 100 per cent pass percentage in both the exams.

Writer C Radhakrishnan, the chief guest, asked students to remember the role and support their teachers and parents provided them in their every achievement. He said students should consider their teachers and parents as role models. 

Student Sreelakshmi G brought laurels to her school by becoming the national topper and scoring high marks in all the subjects. S Kedarnath Shenoy, outstanding scientist and NPOL director, besides E Ramankutty, Rani Gopakumar and K Usha, were also present.
