Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Government has restricted the manufacture of Oxytocin formulations for domestic use to public sector only from 1st of next month. It has also banned the import of Oxytocin and its formulations.

Health and Family Welfare Ministry in a release said Oxytocin in any form or name will not be allowed to be sold through retail Chemist. The Ministry said that only the Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited (KAPL), a public sector company, will manufacture the drug for domestic use from next month.

The Oxytocin formulations for domestic use will be supplied by the manufacturer directly to the registered hospitals and clinics. The Ministry advised all the registered hospitals and clinics in public and private sector to contact KAPL and place their orders with the company.
