18 nabbed for gambling near Dhoban Wali Gali

Mangalwara police have nabbed 18 persons while gambling and recovered Rs 22,000 cash from their possession in near Dhoban Wali Gali area on Monday night.

Acting on a tip off, 18 gamblers were caught gambling by Mangalwara police late in the night on Monday.

Based on the information regarding gambling in the area raid was conducted by police team at around 3 in the night and managed to nab 18 gamblers. Few managed to escape taking advantage of low light and would be searched.

The nabbed accused were identified as Furqan, Idris, Mohsin, Adnan, Amir, Sachin, Danish, Sohail, Nazim, Rizwan, Shadab, Saurabh, Javed, Abhisek, Salman, Rishi, Sadiq and Imran. Police said that the gamblers were playing in open below a street light.
