Bridge on Musi inaugurated

Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development K.T. Rama Rao on Tuesday inaugurated a bridge built on the Musi river near Kismatpur in Rajendranagar. The bridge, designed by the HMDA to replace a causeway, is 335 metres long and 10.5 metres wide, with footpaths on both sides. Government had given administrative sanction for ₹6.58 crore in 2015 for construction of the bridge.

The Minister has also inaugurated an electrical sub-station at Shivrampally, special repairs to the BT road between Miralam and Himayatsagar road, and a mini pond at Patti Kunta, besides laying foundation stone to Malkam Cheruvu restoration works in Hyderguda, and the periodic preventive management road works.

Chairman of Legislative Council Swamy Goud, Minister for Transport P.Mahender Reddy, MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and MLA Prakash Goud accompanied the minister.
