Belgium's Medicover evinces interest in setting up charitable hospitals in Hry

A delegation of Medicover, a leading health organisation of Belgium, has evinced interest in establishing super specialty charitable hospitals at four places in Haryana, an official release said here today.

A delegation led by Director, Medicover, called on the Health Minister, Anil Vij, the release said.

Felipe informed Vij that they have selected for establishing charitable hospitals in view of the unprecedented improvements made in the health sector during last few years.

The organisation has about 3,000 super specialty hospitals in and across entire Europe, the government release further said.

Felipe said that under first phase, the organisation intends to establish such hospitals at Rohtak and Guugaon after which such hospitals would be established at and Ambala under second phase.

These hospitals would be completely charitable and would provide better to poor and economically weaker sections of the society, the release said. The assured every possible assistance to the organisation, it added.
