This car show that honors the '80s and '90s is most excellent.
The two-decade span between 1980 and 2000 was (arguably) not a great era of car design or manufacture. The golden age of the automobile had come and gone and the car was on its way out as a lust-worthy object. Thank god those prognosticators were wrong.
Instead of the automobile’s death knell, we got the Ferrari F40, Lancia Delta Integrale, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Porsche 959, and the iconic Mazda Miata. This 20-year period not only introduced some of the most poster-worthy automobiles of all time, but reinvigorated the market to such a degree that we're still feeling its effects today.
To celebrate this era (and all the terrible fashion choices associated with it ), a handful of car nerds decided to put on a car show called Radwood. We were on hand in our very best Magnum P.I. cosplay to judge the winners, the losers, and the "holy crap, is that a Ferrari F50!" moments of the show in the most unscientific way possible. Here's our top ten.
