New snow points such as Chanshal, Saach Pass, Jalori Pass, Shrikhand and Dhauladhar will be identified and developed as tourist places in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said today.
Thakur said this during a presentation by a team of MLAs and state officials who visited Sikkim to study the initiatives taken by that state in the field of tourism, orgnic farming, sanitation and solid waste management.
The members of the team including MLAs Rakesh Pathania, Rakesh Jamwal, Ravinder Kumar, Ashish Butail, Vikramaditya Singh and Hoshiyar Singh besides Director Rural Development Rakesh Kanwar, Chief Engineer Ashok Chauhan, Chief Architect PWD NK Negi and Deputy Director, Tourism Pankaj Sharma also submitted its report to Chief Minister Thakur.
