OUTRAGE as just ONE Labour MP attends debate on ending historic Army veteran prosecutions
LABOUR has sparked outrage after images emerged of a Parliamentary debate on ending historical prosecutions of armed forces veterans in which only one opposition MP attended.

The debate was called by ex-Army officer and Conservative MP for Aldershot Leo Docherty about the investigations into incidents during the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
Some stretch back more than 40 years and have been blamed for leaving ageing veterans traumatised.
People took to social media to complain, with one saying: “Labour hate the British.”
Another said: “Nice to see Labour care about the armed forces. This is just shameful.”
And another added: “Labour hate anything to do with Armed forces or UK.”
No SNP or Liberal Democrat MPs attended the debate either.
But more than 50 Tory MPs attended as well as most of the DUP’s 10 MPs.
Former Scottish Guards officer Mr Docherty said the no-show from the opposition was “disappointing”.

He added: “It reflects a distressing lack of interest and commitment to the Armed Forces community by Labour.
“It would have been far better to have sent a cross-party message to the Government.”
Some Labour MPs were attacked by their constituents on social media when images of their empty seats emerged.
But Labour MP for Exeter, Ben Bradshaw, replied when challenged if he had been there.

He said: “It was the daily end of day adjournment debate.
“Many of these are worthy, but they have no legislative impact & limited opportunity for MPs other than the sponsor to speak. So, I’m afraid I didn’t.
“But if you’re a constituent, email me for details of what I’m doing on this.”
